MTH Tool Hire helps Winter to come early to Matlock
MTH Tool Hire are pleased to be one of the sponsors of an ice skating spectacular at Matlock Park. The rink is open to the public from 12pm to 7pm on 18th, 19th and 20th November.
The artificial ice rink measures 14m x 15m and has a capacity of carrying over 70 skaters at any one time.
Skates for both adults and children will be available for hire at the park.
The weather forecast for Matlock is currently for a dry and overcast weekend, with a possibility of rain on Sunday evening. Check the BBC weather forecast for Matlock for further updates.

MTH Tool Hire Sponsors Penny Farthing Race
We are very pleased and proud to be sponsoring a team racing in the Matlock 2011 Penny Farthing championship.
Please support the MTH Tool Hire team!
A course will be set up in Hall Leys Park, Matlock and riders will travel from all over the country to compete.
After racing individual timed laps in the morning the riders will group up for a one hour bunch race with up to 30 machines racing together in the afternoon.
Penny Farthings are capable of reaching a surprising speed and the racing should be quite spectacular. Of course, Penny Farthings are not easy to stop suddenly so we hope there will be no accidents as Penny Farthing crashes can be quite unpleasant!
If you are in Matlock on Sunday, 11th September, then pop over to Hall Leys Park and wish good luck to the MTH Tool Hire team.
New Sheffield tool hire depot for Spring 2011
Our new Dinnington tool hire depot is opening very soon, serving people and businesses in Sheffield and Worksop. Customers can collect or we offer a delivery service.
Limited stocks of heaters and dehumidifiers!
MTH Tool Hire have been battling against the weather but have managed to source additional stocks of LPG and diesel fired heaters for the winter.
The demand for heaters so early in the year has been significant, but MTH Tool Hire have managed to keep our customers warm with a selection of LPG, diesel and radiant heaters from our extensive range.
We have some limited stock left and deliveries to remote or difficult to reach locations are being met using the 4x4 from our Matlock Depot.
Thanks to all our customers for their patience during this period of adverse weather and good luck for anyone travelling or still affected by the recent snow.

New tool hire depot to open in Sheffield area early 2011
MTH Tool Hire is presently planning opening a new depot in the Sheffield area and is presently negotiating for a property in Dinnington. Being situated in the Dinnington area will provide better coverage for our customers in Sheffield, Rotherham and Worksop, and our hire fleet is being improved to accommodate this extra depot.
The new depot is anticipated to be open early 2011, with a target date of February. The new depot will be managed by Jason who has a wealth of experience in the hire industry, and we're looking forward to a new batch of customers and challenges!
MTH to the rescue when auction risks flooding
The three-day attic sale at Chatsworth House raised almost £6.5m. According to news reports the Sotheby's auction was organised by the Duke of Devonshire, who said he needed to make some space.
Sotherby's contacted MTH Tool Hire on a Sunday morning reporting that flood water was seeping up through the temporary flooring boards in the sale marquee - risking water damage to numerous valuable items.
MTH sent out an emergency hire of specialist equipment, namely a flood water pump out vac. An ordinary pump would not be able to remove all the water, whereas using a specialist pump out vac means that water can be picked up very close to the surface.
Notable items sold on the final day included a 1915 Humber touring car known as the Yellow Peril, which went for £42,500 - ten times its estimate. The auction had initially been expected to raise about £2.5m. More than 20,000 objects were up for grabs, with the most expensive items - including a £565,250 18th Century marble fireplace - being sold on the first day.
MTH Tool Hire Staveley move to other premises in 2011
To be honest we're short of space! The main road location at Lowgates has been a great place to work from, but parking and access was always an issue.
The new location will provide better parking, easier loading and off loading with fork lift and vehicle access. Rest assured all our email addresses and telephone numbers etc will remain the same, and we'll contact all our customers individually to ensure the new address details are available.
The Peak FM calendar is ready to go for 2011!
This year the proceeds from the Peak FM 2011 calendar are going to Weston Park Cancer Charity & The Hereditary Breast Cancer Helpline.
You'll find MTH Tool Hire on the June 2011 pages and we'll also be selling the calendars over the counter at our Staveley depot.
