New Depot is open for business!
MTH are now open and working from our new premises at 1 Wharf Lane, Lowgates, Staveley, Chesterfield S43 3TZ. Check out our opening times.
Counting down the days!
We're counting down the days to our move to new premises and hoping to be open in less than 2 weeks. We're anticipating the opening to be on the 1st November 2009.
These new pages will be updated so look out for competitions, chance to win a Blu Ray DVD player, and in conjunction with local press and radio we're running several competitions, friends and family discount vouchers, and opportunities to enjoy offers and price promotions throughout the rest of the year.

Work progresses at the MTH new hire depot and our builders are making progress with the hire counter, workshop and stores. In the meantime we're stocking up on safety equipment, hard hats and Hi-Viz as we'll be stocking all PPE for sale when we move. Don't forget we'll be a local supplier of power tools, consumables and accessories too. MTH will open soon and we'll keep you posted
Jobs at MTH
We're currently have an oopportunity for tool HIRE person with experience in the hire industry. Typically this would involve working on the hire counter, set up, test & repair, customer advice and product knowledge etc. The applicant must have full (standard) driving license.

MTH will soon be on the move!
At last, the long awaited workmen have started refurbishing the premises where we'll move to in the next 4 - 6 weeks. After copious mugs of tea, and numerous sheets of plasterboard, the builders will hopefully hand over the new site soon. We'll then be able offer a much wider range of equipment and services. This will include an improved hire fleet, off the shelf PPE, safety equipment, more power tools, and a new range of generators.
As well as business-to-business hire, we'll have a wider range of machines for the home. We're adding more and more to our range of carpet cleaners, wallpaper strippers, lawn and gardening equipment etc. MTH will also able to offer a better point of sale area and handover desk for discounted counter sales, training, instruction, and consumables.
Work started this week at the new site and we'll keep you informed of the progress. The run down and dilapidated building, formerly a fashion and clothes manufacturer, is being stripped and refurbished.
During the repairs, MTH are supporting local trade wherever possible, and will be offering dicounts to local traders once we're open.
Heating equipment
As the weather becomes colder later in the year, how you heat your building or event can be important. There is nothing worse than having a group of people together, especially if it is a celebration event, only to find that the guest are constantly complaining that they are cold. This can also apply to a business event. Additionally, there is the work place and the legal responsibilities placed on an employer, regardless of whether workers have a comfortable environment in which to work.

Winners of the HAE 'Hire Industry Website of the Year'
MTH are delighted to announce that they are winners of this year's Hire Awards of Excellence which were announced at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony in London.
New Products
Here at MTH we're always looking for new and innovative products for hire, these include the new wheelie bin cleaning machine, mobile hot water jetters and bowser mounted pressure washers and pump out vacs, to name just a few.
MTH are proud to announce their membership of HAE
Hire Association Europe (HAE) is the official body, which represents the Hire and Rental Industry throughout Europe and currently boasts membership of over 3000 hire & rental outlets.
The Association is unique in that it brings together the diverse sectors involved in hire. Current membership includes suppliers and manufacturers from the tool and equipment; plant; audiovisual; catering and leisure; and portable sanitation hire sectors. The HAE and its members all work together to promote and protect the Hire and Rental Industry and improve industry standards.
